Request A Sponsorship

At Meritus Credit Union, we are committed to making a meaningful and lasting impact in the communities we serve. Helping nonprofits, educational and community groups is not just what we do, it’s a part of our culture. We believe these groups have a tremendous impact and it’s both our responsibility and pleasure to support them. 

Who Can Request Funding?

Qualifying organizations are 501(c)3, accredited educational institutions or recognized community support groups. We cannot support activities that are strictly religious or political in nature. While we wish we could support all worthy organizations, we will prioritize requests that:  

• Are located within our service area (Acadia, Iberia, Lafayette, St. Martin and Vermilion Parishes)
• Reflect the mission and core values of Meritus Credit Union
• Provide education, financial literacy or additional support to our community
• Fulfill a recognized need and benefits the community at large

Sponsorship decisions are based on availability of funds and a variety of additional factors. If your organization does not support at least one of these core focus areas, we may not be able to grant your sponsorship request.
